Testing laboratory
Traumpasscertified bedding is tested for adherence to requirements of Class I and II of the European standard EN 12934. This product standard regulates the identification of down and feathers across Europe. The standard classifies filling materials in seven categories. The Traumpass seal is awarded for materials that meet Class I and II specifications. To ensure maintenance of the highest standards, the proportion of other elements used in filling materials should be max. 10% not the 15% allowed by EN 12934.
Testing is carried out by WESSLING GmbH or QTEC (Japan). Test reports are sent to DIN CERTCO, a notary/lawyer’s office and the company whose products are being tested.
